Making men out of boys
A high school in Australia has introduced classes to turn teenage boys into men. Sydney’s St. Augustine’s College has introduced a grooming and etiquette class for 9thgrade boys that covers everything from remembering to wear deodorant to ironing to putting the toilet seat down. The class even teaches the men-to-be how and when to properly shake hands. A poor handshake is such an unattractive quality in a person. I always think less of a fella if he has a weak shake – it makes me feel like I’m the masculine one when my ultimate goal is to at the very least, create the illusion of being dainty. It might not be a bad thing to incorporate those classes into Canadian high school curriculum...
