Happy Birthday Butch Goring! You remember him well from the early 80s when the Islanders were always winning the Stanley Cup. He always wore his childhood helmet and Mike Bossy said Goring started the playoff beard tradition. I'm envious of our friends on the Lower Mainland. 26 cm of snow fell on the North Shore mountains this weekend, plus it's falling in Whistler. My brother made a post on Facebook telling us it was snowing in the Village. Snow didn't fall in Castlegar like it was expected to, but it's on the forecast for tomorrow. We'll be skiing soon, Red Mountain opens on December 8th. Lots to look forward to this week, there is still time for another deal in the NHL lockout before Thursday's deadline. Ladies, Magic Mike is available on DVD tomorrow. In tech news, the iPad Mini will be unveiled tomorrow and Windows 8 is coming out on Friday.
