Monday!It's the 21st anniversay of Pearl Jam's Ten...such an important album. Not only did it change the lives of every member of Pearl Jam, it helped shift pop culture and the soundtrack to our every day life. Think of what you were listening to before Nirvana's Nevermind, Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger and Ten and how it all changed - I know that's nothing new, but the change was significant. Had a great weekend in the Castlegar, Nelson, Trail area - on Friday I was on location for the Cedar Avenue Back to School Sale Block Party! Thanks to everyone who paid us a visit...Friday night we were in Nelson for Marketfest, Baker Street is awesome, some great food, vendors and bike stunts! Saturday we went to Kokanee Creek Provincial Park and saw the Salmon run, thanks to everyone who commented on my photo which is still on our facebook page. Sunday my wife and I kayaked along Arrow Lake to Syringa from Scotty's, such a great view. TWO bear sightings over the weekend, first one Friday night turning onto our street in Castlegar, there he was in our headlights, gave a bit of a start, but he was away in no time.
