Red Mountain Ventures Slashes Lot Prices

Red Mountain Ventures in Rossland is making a bold move in an attempt to get construction underway at one of their developments.

They have slashed prices of lots at their single family home site by up to 75% with discounts in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Realtor Jim Greene says the developer wants to kick-start the project and get some building activity happening. 

As an indication of how much the property market has fallen the Caldera lots were selling for up to $379,000 in January 2008.

The cheapest one is now priced at $79,000
