After a five-year hiatus the Kootenay Storytelling Festival is coming back to life.

 

It will be held September 15th in Procter and then move to Nelson the next day.  Organizer Barry Gray says it's a way of passing the storytelling torch with a goodbye procter, hello nelson. He says it's a natural pregression that feels pretty good.

 

The festival will feature eight storytellers including five with tales of Kootenay history.  Venues and tickets are still being firmed up.
