Running For Public Education
A North Vancouver teacher running across the province says it is time for our Government to make a committment to public education.
Ian Cunliffe is running 22 marathons in 22 days to protest Bill 22.
Cunliffe says service levels for kids have steadily eroded over the past ten years, for example he says children in his class aren't getting the help they need and would have gotten in the past because of the cuts to Learning Assistants
He says right now in BC, often there are 1200 kids per councillor.
Cunliffe ran through Salmo yesterday and is off to Trail, Rossland and Christina Lake over the next two days.
