Trail Cocaine Trafficker Gets 15 Months

A Trail man has been sentenced to 15 months in jail after being arrested twice in 8 weeks for cocaine trafficking.

Police say 39 year old Leonard Dyoco was last picked up early Saturday morning at the CIBC parking lot in Trail.  Dyoco swallowed a quantity of cocaine before investigators found additional drugs on him.  He spent the night in hospital as a precaution.

Corporal Darryl Orr says the man was also arrested for a similar offense back on July 18th.  Dyoco appeared in Rossland court on Monday and pleaded guilty to both incidents.  He faces 15 months in jail plus one year's probation.
